There is no question about it. Everyone is experiencing a growing sense of unease with world events. Feelings of anxiety are at all-time highs. The normal ways of dealing with issues and problems no longer seem to work. The more we reflect on today’s problems, the more hopeless and powerless we feel. The level of our consciousness can determines the outcome. What do we choose?
Things we thought we understood no longer seem to make sense. We are bombarded with misinformation and disinformation from everywhere as parties strive to present their positions in the best light possible while we are left feeling dis-empowered. However, we know one-sided decisions made in a vacuum have unintended consequences and rarely support the highest and greatest good for all.
I recently read an article about why finding the motive behind the Las Vegas mass shootings is so important. Without a motive, there is no profile of the kind of person who could do such a terrible act. This means anyone could be the next perpetrator. Therefore, we conclude there is nowhere we are safe. Anyone can bring us harm anywhere. We feel helpless as fear creeps into our daily awareness. What can we do? Hide from life? Shelter our children? We know deep down that retreating from life cannot help. We need another way.
The good news is there has always been another way. The contrast we experience is calling us to choose anew and rise above these lower energies. The way is easy. Simply raise your energy vibration and stand in your light. Your light is strong. No darkness can hide from it. In fact, and this is the power of the light, the light transforms darkness into light. The darkness simply and effortlessly goes away in the presence of light. Does it take any effort to turn on the light switch in a dark room? No, of course not.
When you enter a dark room, you must turn on the light to find your way. Otherwise you will bump around in the dark, get disoriented, hit your head, stub your toe and walk in circles. So what are we waiting for? So many of us are waiting for someone else or something else to change, yet it is only you who can turn the light on in your field of consciousness. But when you do, profound things begin to happen.
When your light shines bright, everything is seen from a different perspective. That which seemed to matter, matters less and what is truly important rises to the top. You learn to discern truth 
from untruth. Things get done effortlessly. New ideas come forth providing solutions to problems. A sense of calm settles in. You feel grounded and connected to life. You become a giver rather than a taker, yet paradoxically you seem to receive more than before.
This higher version of you radiates out into the Universe and the Universe answers. These high vibrations are so compelling and attractive that it transforms not only your life but the lives of others near and far. It is obvious those you relate to daily would be affected, but it is not so apparent those you do not know are also impacted.
Internationally renowned psychiatrist and bestselling author of Power vs. Force, David Hawkins, scientifically developed a logarithmic scale of consciousness. It ranges from 0 to 1,000 with 1,000 being the highest level of energy the human body can contain (Think Christ or Buddha). The level of 200 marks the difference between positive and negative energy. Fear, Anger, Guilt all calibrate below 200. Joy and Love calibrate in the 500’s. A Course In Miracles in the 600’s as well as the teachings of Lao Tsu. The mantra OM calibrates in the 700’s as does the King James version of the bible.
If your consciousness falls below 200; you feel stressed, begin to lose your power, grow weaker and are prone to manipulation. A satisfied, meaningful and fulfilled life is not possible, yet 85% of the human race calibrates below this critical level. Why then do we not destroy ourselves? Because the consciousness of the few, offsets the negativity of the many. Power is logarithmic. One individual at level 300 counterbalances 90,000 individuals below level 200 while an individual at level 600 counterbalances 10 million individuals below 200. This is the power to change worlds. This is the power that is yours to behold. This is how we overcome the darkness in the world.
The higher energies of love and joy desire to be made manifest into the world, yet they can only be expressed through you and me. If the world is going to peaceably, gently and joyfully evolve; then it needs us to rise up to new and higher states of awareness. This is what you and I came here to do. So let’s begin.
Every conscious minute makes a difference. Commit to daily prayer, meditation, and/or conscious breathing. One conscious minute, breathing in, breathing out, be-ing presence. Even one conscious breath makes a difference. Take one now. Put your attention on your breath; breathe in and then out. Notice the difference in how your body feels and your mind clears. Do this throughout your day. Consistency is important.
When you do, no one will likely notice, no one that is except you and your Creator. You know the difference you will have made and that will have made all the difference.
